Welcome to the 58th Carnival of Personal Finance! So many great submissions this week... as usual, it took me about four times longer than it should have to put the carnival together because I couldn't help myself and kept stopping to read the posts.
Just a word of warning, Blogger lost the original Carnival post that I put together last night, so I had to scramble this morning to re-do it before work (hence the total lack of organization, my apologies). If I missed your post, please comment and I will add you ASAP. Also, I am unable to access the COFP email box from work, so if you submitted your post after 9pm CST last night, I won't be able to get to it until this evening. Feel free to post a comment with your submission info and I will add it to the carnival. Right now, I'm thanking my lucky stars that I forwarded all the carnival posts from the COFP email box to my gmail account; otherwise we probably wouldn't have a carnival until tomorrow.

post a commentThanks Savvy! I know it's tough to pull it all together the last minute when a post gets eaten. Thanks for having it ready this morning!
Kudos for being able to recover so nicely! Thanks for hosting.
mapgirl and 2million - thanks! I think I put the carnival together in record time. I just have my fingers crossed that I didn't miss any posts.
Nice job, Savvy! Wow, even after Bloger ate it, you still managed to get this up and out on time.

wow. so much information.
as someone starting to figure out her money....i don't even know where to begin. but thanks...i have my reading cut out for me.
What an amazing list! Great job on it. Loved it!
Thanks oh Savvy One... you didn't forget my post and of course my post is the most important...although there are plenty that are better than mine!
Thanks for hosting! I always find it amusing that Gmail automatically saves drafts of e-mails every 20 seconds or so without asking, but Blogger used to eat my entries every other week.
What's your take on this?
A Monthly Family Budget.
Yeah, the "budget" just blows my mind, but at the same time I don't think I would feel safe retiring in my 20s with a $5 million trust fund, particularly if I lost health insurance by quitting.
And what's a safe withdrawal rate for 70 years, anyway? People quote 4% for a 30-year retirement.
