Our closing went off without a hitch on Friday. Both Mr. Savvy and I took the day off work, and spent almost the entire day signing papers, running errands, picking up supplies, dropping off keys, talking to the post office and utility companies, etc. We were exhausted yesterday.
Our finances are a mess right now... our new mortgage accounts aren't online yet, so I can't add them to Yodlee. I will feel much better when I can see them online and set up the automatic payments. I'm also in the process of setting up a new account to hold security deposits in.
We have out of town guests this weekend, my cousin and his girlfriend came up from Iowa State U. They arrived late last night and we have plans to go to a roller derby and see a couple of bands tonight, after we sample my brother's first batch of home brewed beer!
We did buy the new water heater for unit 3 yesterday, and plan to install it ourselves next weekend. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes!
