a new addition....

... to the Savvy household! Our baby boy was born on September 30th. He's healthy and snuggly and cute.

I would really like to share pictures, but I'm still trying to find a safe way to do so.

Congratulations!!! Welcome to parenthood. It's the most rewarding thing you'll ever do. (It's also the hardest, but don't worry, it gets easier every day!)

Congratulations! Since we have Savvy and Mr. Savvy, I assume that the young one's name will be... Super Savvy?

Just curious...

Your last post regarding your Sept. net worth was posted on 9/30. The baby was born on 9/30.

I'm being sarcastic, so don't take offense...but am I supposed to deduct that the last thing you did prior to giving birth was update your loyal readers with your monthly net worth update?

"Yes honey, my water broke; but wait...I need to double check these 401k numbers first..."

Congratulations.

Long time lurker de-lurking to say congratulations! I was hoping you'd popped after a week without updates.

Another lurker de-lurking to add my "congratulations." Baby boys are lots of fun. Watch out for those unexpected showers ;-)

Congratulations! I know it can be hard, but try to enjoy the early days with your new little person. It is so easy to get wrapped up in trying to do everything (and maybe get a few minutes of rest) that you can miss the simple pleasures of watching your baby change and grow. Then, in a couple years you will realize you missed something and you will want another child, so you can "really appreciate them this time." And lets face it, children are just plain expensive, so get the best value out of the first one. :) Congratulations again.

Congratulations! We have a 15 month old, and he's a handful. I've had a lot of people tell me "he's a real boy." Good luck!
