November Net Worth - ($7,280)
| November's net worth report is slightly depressing. We purchased a new/used car this month, bringing down our cash on hand by $7,295. We don't count vehicles in net worth, so this was not offset by any increase in assets. This erased four months of debt-reduction progress, but was a very necessary expenditure. We also had some apartment-related expenses that totaled a couple hundred dollars and Mr. Savvy took about 7-8 unpaid days off. On the plus side, I had a couple hundred dollars in side-income, and I spoke with my insurance agent about paying our homeowners and property policies monthly, rather than yearly. That should free up some cash next year because we will be paying for that month, rather than setting money aside for the next year's policy. I currently do not count any moneys saved for insurance policies or property taxes in our net worth. We made $745 this month in interest.

post a commentHello, just started reading your blog and am really enjoying the info. I especially like Baby on A Budget!
One thing I noticed though is that whenever you post your monthly net worth I'm getting a big blank white space in your entries. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be an image there that I'm not seeing or what is going on. I'm using Firefox bowser.
I really like your blog- have to check on it more often. If you are interested in GeneralFinance's credits search for General Finance ContactCenter.
